We did a major renovation on this house in order to improve the curb appeal of the outside of the house as well as provide a proper large entry area with lots of storage space on the inside. We moved the front door from the centre of the house to the right side to utilize an unused room inside for the entry. This allowed us to build a beautiful covered porch across the front of the house which now houses the porch swing that the owners had always wanted. We also reworked the plan of the main living areas to give the owners a large kitchen island in the old dining space while relocating the dining table to what was a rarely used living room. These owners were fun with their colors choices, selecting a pale blue island for a bright and fresh beach-y feel. We were able to save a ton of money by reworking the existing white kitchen cabinets but refreshed the look by adding a new countertop and backsplash. Our kitchen window treatment adds a touch of blue to tie into the color of the island.
